So Chicago Lost - Deal with it

Today it was announced that Rio won the opportunity to host the Olympics in 2016, beating out Chicago, Madrid, and Tokyo. Chicagoans, don't get your panties in a bunch, you probably lucked out by not hosting the Olympics. Chicago's rife with crime, corruption, and a budget deficit...trying to build for the Olympics would have only added to the mess. I read an article today detailing Chicago's failings with public works projects; I'm sure that came up in discussions among the IOC's members. Who'd want to trust in a city that can barely (putting a pretty bow on that) take care of its current projects let alone the project list that comes with any Olympics event? Personally, I'd put down the reason for the "no" vote as O'Hare International Airport...
