In Work On Something

 Yea, I know. I go through all the trouble of updating my site and then nothing happens. Truth is that I'm so loaded up with projects at work that I have no time left to bring to my own site...sucks, but then again, I don't get paid to create literary magic on my site. In a land of little pink ponies and rainbows, I could make something off of this place, but for now, back in reality, it is what it is. Anyway, I AM writing up a little article for the site, but I'm taking my sweet time on it. Ah, here it is...in the unpublished queue....but it's not ready yet. Sorry.

In other news, it looks like Apple enlisted FedEx Overnight to meet their August 28 OSX Snow Leopard delivery promise; that's cool since I requested the slow boat delivery method for it this past Monday. Looks like it'll be in my hands by Friday mid-morning, yay! I'm not sure how much it'll improve my MacBook as its already pretty damn fast with 4gb of RAM under Leopard, but apparently, I'll see some sort of difference. I'm really hoping that it will help out my wife's MacBook Air. She runs a lot of crap, including Parallels-->Windows XP-->Lotus Notes and complains endlessly about its sluggishness. Of course, the only problem is that Parallels is one of those apps known to not yet be compatible with Snow Leopard...I'm sure that will change in short order though.

At some point, I'll probably throw up my own little review of Snow Leopard in action if I get the chance. Of course, I won't be doing a full technical analysis because I don't really care about that (I just care that it works), but I'll do something from the standpoint of the average Joe just using it.
